Designing a User-Friendly Web App for Effortless Crypto-to-IDR Transactions
This showcase project is Web Application for Seamless Finance, a pioneering firm in finance and technology, specializing in decentralized crypto-to-Indonesian Rupiah exchanges. I created a user-friendly web app with a clean interface, real-time updates, and secure transactions, offering seamless compatibility with over 300 wallets and multiple payment destinations.

The Brief and The Goal:
Seamless Finance is a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange platform that enables users to convert their cryptocurrency into IDR (Indonesian Rupiah) or vice versa, using a streamlined and secure process. The design brief for the web app was to create an intuitive, easy-to-use platform that:
Allows users to seamlessly transfer cryptocurrency (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin) to IDR and other payment destinations such as e-wallets or bank accounts.
Ensures a smooth, secure transaction process with real-time exchange rates, transaction fees, and balance updates.
Provides a clean and modern interface, focusing on a frictionless user experience for both new and experienced crypto users.
Ensures the app is fully responsive, so it works on both desktop and mobile devices.

The First Step
Before starting the design process, I took the following initial steps:
Understanding the User Needs: I researched the target audience, which primarily consisted of crypto enthusiasts and users who wanted an easy way to convert crypto into IDR or other payment methods. I focused on understanding the challenges users face when using decentralized exchanges and their expectations for a seamless experience.
Platform Functionality Review: I studied the functionality of the platform, such as payment destinations (e-wallets, bank transfers), cryptocurrency choices (Ethereum, Bitcoin, etc.), and the need for real-time tracking of transactions and balances. I ensured that the design could accommodate all these functions.
Competitor Analysis: I analyzed other decentralized exchange platforms and reviewed their user interfaces to determine which features users liked and disliked. This helped me identify potential areas of improvement for Seamless Finance.
Wireframing and Layout Design: I created wireframes for the key pages, focusing on the dashboard, transaction process, wallet integration, and payment destination options. The goal was to ensure simplicity, clarity, and intuitive navigation.

The Challenge
Several challenges arose during this design project:
Complex Information Display: Decentralized exchanges involve multiple variables, such as crypto balances, wallet addresses, transaction fees, and exchange rates. Presenting this information clearly without overwhelming the user was a challenge.
Real-Time Updates: Real-time updates for crypto balances, transaction history, and exchange rates needed to be seamlessly integrated into the user interface without slowing down the platform.
Security and Trust: Since the platform handles financial transactions, ensuring the app communicated trust and security to users was essential. The design needed to emphasize this without compromising usability.
Responsive Design: Ensuring the web app provided an equally smooth experience across desktop and mobile devices required special attention to the layout, form fields, and button sizes.

Real-Time Data Integration: The web app’s real-time updates for exchange rates, balances, and transaction history ensured that users were always informed about the status of their crypto assets.
Security and Trust: The design successfully communicated the platform’s reliability and security through visual cues, such as SSL encryption icons and secure wallet address verification.
Mobile-Friendly: The web app’s responsive design provided a seamless experience across devices, ensuring that users could easily make transactions from any screen size.
Positive Feedback: The clean, modern design received positive feedback for its ease of use and clarity, especially from users new to decentralized exchanges.
